Beauty and The Beast Inspired Dinner - Part 1

9:34 AM

A few days ago I had a special late-valentine dinner with my Dad sponsored by Cosmogirl Indonesia and Disney Indonesia. I was very very excited because the dinner was inspired by Beauty and the Beast which is newest Disney Princess movie for this year.

Beauty and the Beast is one of Walt Disney Pictures production stars by Emma Watson ( my favorite actress xoxo ), Dan Stevens, and many more. Belle is a young woman who is taken prisoner by a Beast in his castle in exchange for the freedom of her father Maurice. Despite her fears, she befriends the castle's enchanted staff and she learns to look beyond the Beast's exterior to recognize the true heart and soul of the human Prince within. Meanwhile, a hunter named Gaston is on the loose to take Belle for himself and later intends to hunt down the Beast at any cost. ( source : Wikipedia )

Anyway, let’s move to the dinner. It was held in Potato Head, Pacific Place, SCBD. I went there with my Mom and Dad and we left at 5pm. Due to Jakarta’s traffic, we arrived at 7.30pm. I was very very panic because the dinner began at 7pm. But, Cosmogirl Indonesia and Disney Indonesia’s Team was very nice to me so yeah I was released. Here’s the footage of my Beauty and the Beast inspired dinner.

Press-Launching Ichitan Yen Yen

9:04 AM

A few days ago I attended the press-launching for Ichitan Yen Yen by Ichitan Group. Ichitan Yen Yen is one of RTD (Ready To Drink) that have a very special ingredient and flavor. Ichitan Yen Yen is a brand new liang cha (a.k.a herbal tea) gives a new excitement if you eat spicy food because Ichitan Yen Yen will reduce the spiciness of your food.

Ichitan Yen Yen made from 4 special ingredients such as grass jelly, mulberry leafs, green tea, and chrysanthemum. Grass jelly has shooting effects and helps your digestion. Mulberry Leafs is common leafs in traditional Chinese herb. It contains mineral and antioxidant will reduce sore throat. Green tea is antioxidant-rich and has so many good nutrition for body. Also can give a calming effect. Chrysanthemum has shooting effects just like grass jelly and help to reduce body temperature when overheated.

I have a chance to meet Mr. Tan Passakornnatee as Chairman and CEO of Ichitan Group. He was superb nice and love spicy food (maybe because he loves spicy food so he created Ichitan Yen Yen hihihi). Anyway, He treats me and ohers blogger in Bebek Bengil Menteng. Bebek Bengil Sambal Matah is very hot but also very delicious. It's a perfect combination between Bebek Bengil Sambal Matah and Ichitan Yen Yen.

Life

Bangs. Bangs. Bangs.

10:23 AM

In the beginning of the year, finally I made a hard decision in my life ( hahaha sorry for being too much ). Yeah I got new bangs. I cannot believe I had so much strength and felt so confident to cut my hair like this. Last time I had bangs like this is about 6 years ago when I so fat, super curly-bad hair, and very chubby cheeks. I bet you won’t believe me haha XD

Say hello to Sylvi from 6 years ago

And here I am. Sylvi in 2017.

Make a hard decision, take risk, and be confident.

When was the last time you set a ridiculous goal for yourself? Something that seemed beyond your reach but you knew had the possibility of being accomplished? In reality, nothing is really impossible. If you think about something you only wish you could do, it’s probably something that has been done by somebody else at one point in time. What is stopping you from setting the same goal and doing it too?

I want to see you all have a crazy ambition. Don’t let anybody tell you that you can’t do something… and don’t ever tell yourself that you can’t either. If your heart is in it and your head is in it, you will find a way to accomplish it, even if you start at the very bottom.

So stop telling yourself that you can’t reach your ultimate objective. The only person holding yourself back from it is you. There is always a way to get there, and even though you may face some winding roads, you will always have the goal of that final destination to push you through.

New Year, New Blogging Resolutions

9:07 AM

Hello Peeps! This is my second post on 2017. Well, I’m gonna tell you about my blogging life. New Year means new ideas also new blogging inspirations. It’s a perfect time to upgrade my content and my schedule so I can improve my blog and grow as better blogger. 2017 is around the corner, so here is it my New Year blog resolution!

Consistent

Sorry to say but being consistent is one of my bad. But don’t worries I already bought my blog planner so I can be more consistent about the schedule. Have your own blog planner is very helpful. It makes you more organize and feeling a lil bit of “under pressure” because you see the deadline so yeah it push you hard to be more consistent.

Revise any old content

Let’s face it, we all grow up and move on to different things. The New Year is the best time to scan your older posts and decide whether or not they’re still relevant to your blog today. Anyway, I’ve been so in love with “The Crush Section” especially beauty crush and fashion crush. I want to keep it up.

Develop an income generating idea

For most bloggers, making money takes a long time and so I am. It’s those that can come up with awesome income generating ideas that will prosper in the New Year. I’ll use my skills and knowledge to make my readers happy so “maybe” I’m gonna have a change to have excellent income too.

That’s all. I hope you’ll get a great blogging year! Xoxo, S!
